All surgery hours are by appointment only.  Exceptionally, urgent cases may be seen without an appointment.

Appointments can be made in person or by telephoning 0114 2647220 between 8:00 am. and 6:00 pm.

Please make a separate appointment for each person wishing to see the doctor. It is important that you let us know if you cannot attend your appointment so that it can be offered to someone else.

Emergencies

Emergency problems will be assessed by the on call doctor and dealt with appropriately by telephone or appointment.

We consider an EMERGENCY as a condition requiring IMMEDIATE attention and treatment.

Home Visits

If a patient is too ill or infirm to attend surgery, a home visit can be requested. Please telephone us on 0114 2647220 before 10:30 in the morning.

Please give the receptionist details of the problem, including the address to visit and a telephone number to contact you.

The doctor may telephone you to advise on the best course of action in relation to your illness, advice only may be needed.

A doctor from the surgery will aim to visit you after the end of morning surgery. We are unable to offer a choice of doctor for home visits.
